2003 Le Brun Servenay Cuvee Chardonnay Vieilles Vignes

Pale yellow. Heady, mineral-laced aromas of fresh citrus and orchard fruits, white flowers and iodine, with a gingery nuance building in the glass. Nervy and light on its feet, especially for a 2003, offering intense Meyer lemon and bitter pear skin flavors and a touch of toasted brioche. Closes spicy and very long, with repeating minerality.
