Note di degustazione
Medium red. Superripe yet rather delicate aromas of cherry, rose petal and pepper. Juicy, sweet and gripping, with intense, sharply delineated flavors of fresh cherry and minerals. Finishes with firm but sweet tannins and terrific persistence. Very showy wine, and wonderfully fresh for the vintage.

(13.9% alcohol) Ruby-red. Superripe aromas of black cherry, spices, dark chocolate and roasted herbs; slightly porty. Sweet, fat and porty, yet with terrific grip. Combines distinct surmaturite with strong underlying backbone. Quite solid, but does it have energy?
This is ripe but a good deal more elegant and pure aromatically with game, underbrush and subtle spice notes that highlight supple, fresh and refined mouth coating flavors that are delicious and set off beautifully by a firm limestone-infused finish. This is quite linear by the standards of the vintage with good overall precision and lovely balance. I like this. Allen Meadows, Burghound Apr01,2005

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
