Quite tart and pinched in style. Slightly dilute. Lovely violet perfume and some savoury spice that contrasts, though the whole impression is pretty subtle. A whispering wine. (RH)

This is also very restrained and only aggressive swirling liberates the cool aromas of dark currant and warm earth. There is a highly refined mouth feel to the fleshy, even opulent medium weight flavors that possess good concentration before terminating in a dusty, mouth coating and moderately firm finish. This is also very Chambolle with just a bit more overall depth compared to the Chatelots. Tasted: Jan 15, 2014. Drink: 2017+
