2009 Nuits St Georges Les Fleurieres

Moderately saturated medium red. Redcurrant aroma complicated by exotic coffee and mocha notes. Silky in texture and very ripe, with moderate complexity to the black raspberry and chocolate flavors. Still a bit of disjointed acidity to be absorbed. Can't match the Chambolle villages for mid-palate concentration of fruit or sweetness. Finishes a bit dry, with saline and medicinal qualities.
