2006 Terreus Paraje de Cueva Baja

Saturated ruby. High-toned, exotic aromas of cherry-cola, potpourri, vanilla and pipe tobacco. Ripe dark fruit flavors pack a punch but show an elegant quality thanks to bright spice and mineral notes. Impressively dense and almost sweet, with sexy spicecake and mocha nuances adding complexity to a long, juicy, floral-accented finish. This is drinkable now, especially with some air, but it has the depth to reward at least another five years of patience.
