The 2010 Bourgogne Chardonnay has a refined, comparatively complex bouquet when compared to its generic peers, with crisp green dewy apple and a touch of pear. The palate is well-defined with light honeyed tones on the entry, later almond and smoke that segue into a sour lemon on the finish. This is an accomplished generic white Burgundy from Monsieur Boillot. Drink now-2015. I tasted three wines recently from Domaine Henri Boillot in London.
