Medium red. Sappy red cherry, raspberry, smoked meat and flowers on the nose. High-pitched flavors of spicy raspberry, red cherry and minerals, with complicating notes of earth, iron and brown spices. Dense, quite concentrated and subtle on the aftertaste. This very ripe but bright wine became sweeter and creamier with extended aeration.
