Note di degustazione
Deep ruby. High-pitched aromas of redcurrant, raspberry, lavender and smoky minerals, with a sexy spicecake quality emerging with aeration. Juicy and precise, with sweet raspberry and floral pastille flavors given lift and spine by tangy acidity. Silky tannins come up slowly on the long, sappy finish, which leaves spicecake and floral notes behind.

The classic 2012 Châteauneuf du Pape checks in as a destemmed blend of 75% Grenache and 25% Syrah that spent 18 months in barrel. Offering up impressive kirsch, black raspberry, dried spices and garrigue, this medium to full-bodied 2012 has an elegant, seamless texture, fantastic purity and sweet tannin that emerges on the finish. There’s certainly a polished, slightly modern feel here, but it’s perfectly balanced and loaded with character. Enjoy this beauty over the coming 8-10 years.
Bright ruby. Intense, floral aromas of raspberry and lavender, with subtle star anise and incense nuances adding complexity. Juicy, finely etched red berry flavors show very good power and focus, with a late note of licorice adding depth. The supple, sweet finish is nicely firmed by fine-grained, harmonious tannins.
