Note di degustazione
Moderately saturated medium red. Brooding aromas of medicinal red berries, menthol and underbrush; with aeration, fresher notes of raspberry and rose petal emerged. Supple, broad and weightless; really expands in the mouth and perfumes the palate. Youthfully unevolved now, with restrained sweetness and excellent energy. Plenty of ripeness here but this complex, silky wine will require time to display its underlying thrust. Finishes with very fine, broad tannins and sneaky persistence.

Good medium red. Subdued nose offers medicinal black fruits, licorice, menthol and spices, with a whiff of white pepper giving it lift. Intensely flavored but youthfully imploded. Offers lovely clarity of flavor and cut but this is going to need a minimum of five or six years of bottle aging. Very Vosne-like in style. These Nuits premier crus were vinified with about 25% whole clusters and received 40% to 60% new oak.
Very solid and dry and rather dry and mossy. Hard work on the end. (JR)
