1999 Nuits St Georges Les Damodes

Good red-ruby. Aromas of redcurrant, blueberry, fresh blood and smoked meat. Fat and stuffed with fruit; this has creamy depth and lovely intensity with modest weight. Very harmonious, stylish wine with soft tannins and very good length. Drag told me that up until about two weeks before my visit the Damodes was quite "strict."
