Note di degustazione
The 2005 Bouscaut is wild, powerful and gamy. Sadly, the edges have frayed here and the 2005 is fully mature. Black cherry, chocolate, mushroom and dark spice, along with drying tannins, are all typical of a wine that is past its peak.

Tasted blind. Hint of botrytis on the nose and real vitality. Racy. Great stuff and the sort of green, rich, sappy, slightly oily wine you could only find in Bordeaux. (JR)
50% Sémillon, 50% Sauvignon Blanc Quite a deep straw. Seriously oaked, very slightly oily dry white. Quite sweet and spicy on the finish. Just slightly lacks refreshment value. (JR)
Sweet and round and straightforward even if a bit simple – just very slightly sickly. (JR)
