Ruby-red. Vibrant, sharply focused strawberry and raspberry aromas, along with fresh flowers and minerals; this smells like pinot noir. Silky in texture, with sweet red berry preserve flavors, gentle vanillin oak spice and soft tannins. Finishes sweet and long, repeating the suave red berry flavors. I found the 2003 version too oaky, by the way.
