Note di degustazione
Full ruby-red. Cassis, plum, licorice, bitter chocolate and fresh herbs on the nose and palate, with tobacco and menthol nuances emerging with air. Supple and chewy but classically dry and not particularly fleshy, with oak, peppery herbs, iron and intriguing soil tones building in the glass. An elegant, pliant midweight that finishes with firm tannic backbone and a light menthol quality.

Saturated ruby. Lively aromas of blackberry, minerals, spices, licorice and mint. Juicy, moderately dense and intensely flavored, with a restrained sweetness and lovely inner-mouth perfume to the dark berry, violet and menthol flavors. The tannins arrive late, and the finishing flavors display very good precision and grip.
Rated -No tasting note given.
Ripe, opulent, almost porty on the nose! Maybe a bit too much and certainly not expressive of the vintage but great lengths have been gone to produce a wine that tastes like 2005 rather than 2007! A bit inky and hard drying tannins on the finish but they have certainly tried… (JR)
