Note di degustazione
Good medium bright red. Musky aromas of redcurrant, game, smoke and minerals lifted by a topnote of blood orange. Juicy, sappy and savory, with strong soil tones to the vibrant, sweet red berry and mineral flavors. Finishes with talc-like tannins and excellent subtle length. This very precise and pretty wine shut down in the glass and displayed a firmer tannic backbone.

Good bright red. Lovely floral lift to the aromas of raspberry, minerals and blood orange; from the nose I would have picked this as a Chambolle. Supple on entry, then wonderfully vibrant in the mid-palate, offering a rare combination of sweetness and cut. The crushed-stone minerality stains the palate on the very long, perfumed back end. Potel notes that his three Gevrey premer crus did their malolactic fermentations before going into barrel and thus come across as sweeter today.
Firm ruby colour. A bit of oak marks this but there is lots of density of fruit. Prunes and walnuts. Tough. Fruit should return. (JR)
