The finest example I have seen of this wine, the opaque purple-colored 2000 exhibits copious quantities of jammy black cherries intertwined with soil, wet stone, and new oak aromas. Medium to full-bodied and powerful, with low acidity and abundant concentration, this fine effort will be drinkable between 2004-2014.
