Note di degustazione
The 1995 Coutet does not quite deliver on the nose with beeswax, white peach and a touch of chamomile, but there is a lack of presence and energy. The palate is better with tangy orange and marmalade notes, good grip and spice, although, like some vintages from this era, it cuts away much too quickly on the finish. Tasted from an ex-château bottle served at the estate.

Deep gold. Initially a little occluded with some obvious botrytis on the nose but then it opened out in the glass to demonstrate lovely freshness and sweetness. Great life and raciness even if not one of the absolutely richest vintages. (JR)
Mid golden copper. Bright yellow! Lightly cheesy and fragile on the nose with a bit of VA. Finishes a bit suddenly. Light barley sugar. Not that sweet. (JR)
