Note di degustazione
Nose very similar to an Argentine torrontes, tulip like. The palate is surprisingly subtle with good weight, still floral notes but these are not overpowering and the spice on the palate adds complexity. There is good weight, very fresh acidity and overall this was a very pleasant end to the tasting.

The 2010 Bastor-Lamontagne has a pretty, well defined bouquet with dried honey, saffron and light Japanese yuzu aromas. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, moderate weight with touches of fig and Seville orange marmalade laced with caramel on the finish. Fine. Tasted blind at Farr Vintners 10-Year On Bordeaux horizontal.
Pale to medium lemon-gold in color, the 2010 Bastor-Lamontagne sings of lemon marmalade, orange blossoms, candied citrus peel and fresh ginger with a touch of beeswax. Satiny textured and with mouth-coating citrus preserves flavors, it has lovely freshness lifting all that rich fruit to lemon-honey laced finish.
