Punteggio 15.5/20 · Da bere 2025-2026, Tamlyn Currin, jancisrobinson.com, Dec 2025

Full bottle 1,594 g. Chardonnay dominant, with both Pinot Noir and Meunier in the blend.  It tastes as if the dosage is on the higher end. Loose frothy mousse. Liquorice and lemon curd. Not long. There are better champagnes at this price. (TC)

A medium yellow hue, the NV Champagne Brut Reserve has a 2021 base and is the calling card of this estate. Offering fantastic, pure notes, it’s a delightful, ripe, and warming wine, with a pillowy mousse and notes of pineapple, orchard fruit, and brioche. Full-bodied, it has a rounded and supple texture, with a long finish. It’s ready to drink now and should also hang on another 6-8 years easily. Drink 2025-2035.

Fresh croissants, green apples, grapefruit and light walnuts on the nose of this crisp, balanced Champagne. Medium-bodied, seamless and sleek. 40% chardonnay, 35% pinot noir and 25% pinot meunier. Base wine from 2021 (70%) with 30% reserve wines. 8 g/L dosage. Drink now.

Full bottle 1,612 g. Chardonnay-dominated blend. Lemon and liquorice curds. Quite sweet. Pineapple cream – the champagne version of piña colada! I found it almost too sweet by itself, but it proved to be really, really good with pies (we used it in a pie-with-wine-pairing test for Thanksgiving 2024). Especially, of all things, steak and kidney pie! (TC)
