Note di degustazione
Complex notes of red currants, cherries, decayed flowers, and spice all emerge from the 2008 Château Lalande-Borie. Made by the team of Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou and a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc, this medium-bodied, elegant, classic Saint-Julien is drinking at point today and is best enjoyed over the coming 8-10 years.

Very suave texture. Classic Médoc build. Very appetising. Long. Neat and concentrated. (JR)
Another sleeper of the vintage, this very stylish St.-Julien has a dark ruby/purple color, light tannins, but beautiful berry fruit intermixed with some underbrush, mocha, and floral notes. Fruity and already charming, this wine should drink nicely for 8-10 years.
Quite dark crimson. Scented, perfumed. Some sweet notes. Very clean and well selected. Not enormously dry or intense but unusually luscious for 2008. (JR)
