Note di degustazione
The 2008 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru has a lovely nose with fine delineation, a mixture of red and black fruit, cedar and autumn leaves and potpourri traces. The palate is medium-bodied. Given that Pierre Duroché mentioned that the fruit was picked a little earlier than planned, yes, there is a touch of herbaceousness. Yet it has more than enough transparency; it's quite elegant and musters more and more harmony with aeration. Tasted at the Clos de Bèze vertical at La Cobotte.

Informazioni sul produttore

Domaine Duroché has, under Pierre Duroché, become one of the most sought-out and respected wine domaines in Gevrey-Chambertin. The wines are delicate and detailed, yet with old-vine intensity, a clear sense of place and style – and it’s easy to see why they’ve rapidly become so in-demand.
