Fully mature, this dark garnet-colored wine shows plenty of amber at the edge. The nose exhibits moderately intense black currant intermixed with cedar, spice box, and some Provencal herb notes. The wine is soft, medium-bodied, very seductive, but needs to be drunk up. Anticipated maturity: Now-2005. Last tasted, 11/02.
