Note di degustazione
The 2009 Nairac has a refined and pure bouquet with ample botrytis, lovely honey and marmalade aromas, a sense of mineralité and tension. The palate is viscous on the entry, rich and decadent but with the acidity to back it up. Heady and opulent, almost Azsù-like towards the finish. A superb Barsac from Nicolas Tari. Tasted blind at Farr Vintners’ 2009 Bordeaux tasting.

Pale to medium gold, the 2009 Nairac features a nose of chamomile, toasted nuts, praline with candied peel, burnt sugar and lemongrass. Full-bodied, rich and opulent with wonderful freshness, the palate is evolving but still has loads of time.
Tasted blind. Proper pear-juice botrytis nose with a spread of clean, interesting fruit. But very sweet! (JR)
Orangey gold. Lots of sweetness and a bit of glycerine. Round and rich, with some zesty smokiness. Long. Dense – could do with a little bit of freshness. (JR)
