Note di degustazione
Ruby-red. Aromas of plum, raspberry, coffee, smoke and game. Fat, sweet, round and lush, with an enticing hint of woodsmoke. Offers considerable immediate appeal, as the acids are ripe and the light dusting of tannins hits the palate quite late. Sexy notes of coffee and mocha on the back end.

A beautiful success for a right bank 2002, the dedication and perfectionism of the Perses is evident in this medium to full-bodied, deep ruby/purple-tinged offering. Sweet aromas of mocha, black cherries, cassis, and plums are followed by a silky-textured claret to enjoy over the next 7-8 years. Yields were a low 20 hectoliters per hectare.
Deep red-ruby. Rich, smoky aromas of roasted plum, currant, tobacco and game, with a suggestion of molasses. Fat, sweet and rich, with inviting flavors of plum, game, mocha and Cuban tobacco. A densely packed wine with a lot of personality. From friable calcaire that typically produces a tender style of wine, according to owner Gerard Perse.
