Note di degustazione
(made from 63% grenache, 20% shiraz and 17% mataro): Glass-staining ruby. Heady aromas of red fruits, potpourri and blood orange are deepened by notes of licorice and cola. Offers penetrating raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a sexy note of floral pastilles. The blood orange note comes back on the gently tannic finish and adds cut to sweet, very tenacious red fruit liqueur and anise flavors. This suave wine drinks very nicely right now.

Medium deep garnet-purple in color, the 2009 The Steading has a very pretty nose of raspberry preserves, rhubarb compote and orange peel alongside expressive spices and florals with a whiff of white pepper. Full, rich and elegant, the abundant, layered flavors are framed with medium-firm levels of velvety tannins through a long finish. Drink it now to 2020+. Importer: Wine Creek Cellars, Sonoma, CA.
