Hippie-incense-like smells jump from the glass of this complex, herb, tobacco, smoky, peppery, fragrant wine. Medium ruby-colored, with light to medium body, it is full of finesse, fruit, charm, and suppleness. This is a sexy offering to enjoy over the next 4-5 years. While there is neither great depth nor length, Les Carmes-Haut-Brion is beautifully complex and supple.
