1993 Cadet Piola

Given the 1993 vintage's potential for tough, hard, tannic wines, and Cadet-Piola's tendency to produce rustic, dense, tough wines, one would have expected a wine that would melt a tooth's enamel. Not so. This estate has produced a soft, fleshy, medium-bodied, supple, easy-going 1993 that will offer pleasant drinking over the next 5-7 years.
