Mid ruby. Appetising and fresh. Liquorice and meat. Not very complex but look at that price! Fruit and minerals and some persistence. GV (JR)

Medium red. Aromas of plum, redcurrant and tobacco. Juicy, lively and easy to drink, with moderate density and a slightly medicinal red cherry flavor. Nicely balanced wine with good acidity and light, dusty tannins.
Soft, easygoing, but relatively light and fruity, this is an attractively styled wine with deep ruby color and some cedar and sweet cherry and berry fruit. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
Closed on the nose but begins to open with Indian spices, vanilla and ripe fruit. Full-bodied, with a solid core of fruit and supersilky tannins. Goes on a long time on the palate. Fine wine. Best after 2008. 2,415 cases made.James Suckling, Wine Spectator 2005
