Very deep ruby/purple, this structured, masculine style of wine is full-bodied, has moderate tannin, and begs for a few more years of bottle age. I like its density, power and richness, but it has not yet come completely together. The tannins are still elevated and the wine relatively closed but promising. Forget it for another 3-4 years and drink it over the following 10 years.
