Pure, fine, light but quite refined wine for lovers of what they would call claret. Others might reproach it for being dull. This was decanted. Reduced initially? (JR)

A solidly made, robust wine displaying herbaceous red and black currant notes with some damp earth, underbrush, and spice, this should be drunk over the next 5-7 years.
Looks quite casual and evolved. Lift and scented. But much more relaxed than most – and pretty far along the development path. Soft and round before the pretty dry tannins kick in. Not for the long term but a very pretty drink. (JR)
