A super wine, and even better if I took its 90 years of age into consideration, this was a pleasure to enjoy. With the essence of cedar, cranberries, pipe tobacco, cigar box, and cassis in the perfume, that was quite the show. On the palate, the wine was as good, or better with its elegance, refinement, and charm, leaving you with ample silky, earthy, soft, red fruits that felt great, with their patina of age. Perfectly stored bottles like this... Drink from 2025-2034.

Pale lustrous fox red. Lightly soapy, indistinct nose. A little tart. Very fresh with marked acidity. High toned. A little bit skinny and lean. This wine is a real palate scrub! Pretty old and the fruit is fading but there is still some suggestion of Margaux floral fragrance. On its way down. (JR)
