Note di degustazione
The 1986 Musigny Vieilles Vignes Blanc Grand Cru comes straight from the domaine. It has a gorgeous honeysuckle, quince and nutmeg scented bouquet that leans towards the Rhône in style (a trait I have discerned in recent vintages). There is just a hint of baking powder in the background. The palate is well balanced and harmonious with notes of Nashi pear, Vervain tea and acacia honey, slightly viscous on the finish with moderate definition. This is a seductive white Musigny that could give many more years of drinking pleasure. Tasted at the La Paulée in Beaune.
