1999 Nuits St Georges

The dark ruby-colored 1999 Nuits-St.-Georges has intense blackberry and tar-like aromas. This medium to full-bodied, fat, big, and chewy wine is jam-packed with black cherries, freshly laid asphalt, licorice, and Asian spice flavors. It is exceptionally well-ripened with dense, velvety layers of fruit that cover its sweet, supple tannins. This highly expressive wine should be consumed over the next 5-6 years.
