Note di degustazione
Dark crimson. Very rich and raisiny on the nose. Fruit doesn't smell very fresh. Certainly not meagre. A bit dusty and rustic in terms of tannin management. Solid and robust. With time it may become smoother and more beguiling. (JR)

Lightish crimson. Very perfumed and then rather rustic tannins. An unusual note of green. Sudden end. (JR)
Bright red-ruby. Inky blueberry, licorice, leather and herbs on the nose, complicated by notes of crushed stone and mint. Offers good breadth and a light touch but only moderate stuffing, showing a distinctly cool, green quality to the leanish middle palate. Finishes with firm, slightly medicinal tannins.
This elegant, forward, evolved, medium-bodied effort exhibits lots of Christmas fruitcake, licorice, spice box, and black cherry fruit along with a lush, silky mid-palate, and ripe tannins. The final blend was 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Consume it over the next decade.
