Note di degustazione
The one aspect of this wine that keeps my score from going any higher is the angular nature of the tannins, which seem not totally integrated and rather elevated. Other than that, the wine exhibits a dark plum/ruby color and a sweet nose of blackberry and cherry fruit intermixed with mineral, underbrush, and earth. The wine is medium to full-bodied, quite sweet and expansive on the palate, and very pure and long. Anticipated maturity: Now-2010. Last tasted, 11/00.
