Pale yellow. Enticing aromas of lightly sauteed pineapple. Juicy and fairly intensely flavored but still rather youthfully tight; not a particularly fleshy style owing to the wine's lemony streak. Finishes with lingering flavors of candied pineapple and soft citrus fruits.

Brownish gold. Tangy, citrus peel nose. Very lively but slightly loose-textured. Good combination of richness and citrus tang but not so much botrytis in evidence. Relatively straightforward and evolved. Tang promises well for the future, although this is not one of the fullest 2004s. (JR)
