Note di degustazione
Humid during summer. Luxurious vegetation. Big yields. They had to do a serious 'bleed' – 25% of the juice taken off to take water out of the fruit. Deep red with brick rim. A lot of ripe fruit here, prunes and figs and still showing red fruits. Still has a little bit of chew on it, but the tannins are smooth and supple. Shortish finish. (JH)

Notes of ripe cherries, prunes, toasty new oak, and caramel jump from the glass of this Merlot-based, fleshy, expansive, seamless 1999. It should be drunk over the next 6-7 years.
