(also racked in April) Good full red. Superripe aromas of black cherry and chocolate. Fat, silky and sweet, with suggestions of chocolate and menthol. Comes across as a bit less complex and ripe than the Fuees.

Cask sample. Very pale, but real concentration and focus on the nose. Lots of red fruit. Easy to like. There is structure underneath, and unexpectedly massive tannins. This should develop well! (JR)
Noticeable wood highlights very ripe nose of cassis and black raspberries that lead to round, rich and succulent flavors that are delicious if not particularly vibrant and this finishes with a dusty and mouth coating texture. Allen Meadows, Burghound, Apr01,2006.
