Full ruby-red. Slightly meaty, reduced aromas of raspberry and black cherry. Fatter and sweeter than the village wine; gives the impression of having less structure today because there more buffering flesh and sweetness, but this has plenty of underlying spine. Penetrating, lingering, subtle finish features lovely sweetness.
