Note di degustazione
Very floral on the nose with pretty myrtille and violet notes. Quite lightweight and elegant in style but no lack of substance. Good. FINE+RARE

The 2012 du Tertre has a well-defined nose: fully-mature with hoisin, dark plum and a light, ferrous edge, not powerful but focused. The palate is well balanced with saturated tannins, fine acidity, quite cohesive and poised with white pepper and clove lining the finish. This is a stylish Margaux for the vintage. Tasted blind at the Southwold Ten-Year On tasting.
Tasted blind. Looks quite mature. Simple nose. Acidity stands out from the fruit. Did it ripen fully? Quite raw tannins. But it may soften… (JR)
