A spectacular nose of spring flowers, forest floor, raspberry and bluer fruits is followed by a medium-bodied wine displaying shocking elegance (a characteristic not generally associated with this big, rich vintage). This pretty 2003 has achieved full maturity and is unlikely to get any better, so drink it up.
Pale crimson. Very light nose and light body with no excess but not really much there at all. Green finish. (Average group score: 13.6) (JR)
Quite fragrant. Light, but intriguing, on the nose. Very light and slightly green. Tastes early-picked and slightly hollow. (JR)
