Note di degustazione
This is the finest wine I have ever tasted from this estate, and it is a justifiable sleeper of the vintage. A blend of 65% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine has a dark ruby/purple color and a deep nose of unsmoked cigar tobacco, burning embers, kirsch and black currants. Medium to full-bodied and deep, with silky textures and tremendous amounts of fruit and glycerin, this wine is irresistible already and should continue to drink well for a decade or more.

Very dark indeed. Rather overripe notes on the nose. Certainly extreme wine but very tough and dry on the end. Picked too late and possibly over-extracted. Shame. (JR)
