Note di degustazione
Complex red and black fruits, leafy tobacco, spring flowers, and some classic Saint-Emilion minerality and chocolaty notes emerge from the 2010 Château Laroze, a medium-bodied wine that has terrific overall balance, nicely integrated acidity, and outstanding length. Based on 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, raised in 70% new barrels, this fully mature, complex, incredibly satisfying beauty will continue to drink nicely through 2035. Drink 2025-2035.

Dark crimson with a pale rim. Lightly, florally fragrant. Easy without being dramatic on the nose. Good blend of ripe fruit and medium charge of tannins on the palate. Not exaggerated but not that ambitious either. (JR)
Lively and round and very sweet. (JR)
At the moment, the 2010 Laroze is restrained and closed, but there is pelnty of power and intensity behind the tannins. The palate reveals subtle flavours of plums, dark berries and cedar notes. The texture, balance and depth of this wine suggests it will open up nicely in time. Do not approach for at least 6-8 years. Jeannie Cho Lee MW asianpalate.com
