Sweet and a little caricature-ish but very attractive. Easy and round and flattering but without real density and just a little too malty. Some chew. Standard issue, one might say. (JR)

Dark crimson. Relatively light, fresh elderberry nose. Easy drinking for the medium term though I wonder whether the tannins aren't a little savage for the weight of fruit. A little short. (JR)
