Note di degustazione
The 2005 Château Laroze is a more pretty, elegant, medium-bodied Saint-Emilion that shines for its balance and complexity. With fine tannins, nicely integrated acidity, and just a lively, perfumed profile drinking at point today, it’s well worth following over the coming 5-10 years.

The 2005 Laroze is a very pleasant surprise. Bold and fruity, the 2005 offers plenty of immediacy. Dark plum, chocolate, spice, new leather and spice all flesh out. Soft contours and plush, silky tannins add to a sense of immediacy. Laroze is not the most complex Saint-Émilion in 2005, but it is immensely delicious.
Sweet and rather simple on the nose – a bit raw. Alcoholic with a very soft velvety texture but not quite enough substance in the middle. Lightly drying tannins. (JR)
