Note di degustazione
Very dark crimson right out to the rim. Gentle, toasty, easy, appealing nose. Extraordinarily evolved. Full, attractive, Earl Grey tea, come-on flavours but can this wine really last all that long? It certainly has some good qualities – a certain sweet Marmite appeal. The worry is how evolved it is... (JR)

Dominated by Merlot (usually about 68%, followed by 26% Cabernet Franc and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon), this dark ruby/purple wine has sexy, lush, jammy, black cherry fruit. As this wine sits in the glass, notes of earth, dried Provencal herbs, and kirsch emerge, as if the wine was a hybrid between a southern Cotes du Rhone and a classic Bordeaux. There is some tannin in the finish, but this wine is all fruit, glycerin, and seductive appeal. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
