2011 La Casilla Estrecha

(all bobal): Brilliant ruby. Dark berries, cherry pit and violet on the perfumed nose. Sappy, smoky and nicely concentrated but lithe as well, offering bitter cherry and cracked pepper flavors that gain sweetness with air. Fine-grained tannins give shape to the spicy, very persistent finish. Balanced to age but very drinkable now with some decanter time.
