Good bright red. Musky strawberry, red licorice and a hint of smoky reduction on the nose. In a supple, feminine style, with good volume to the redcurrant and smoke flavors and solid underlying structure. Not quite as pristine today as the Lavaux but finishes with good breadth and length.

A somewhat taciturn and narrow nose features a limited mix of wild red berries, warm earth and a touch of underbrush that continues onto the round, delicious, fresh and supple flavors that possess a certain delicate quality to them as well as a subtle touch of minerality on the persistent finish. This is a bit rounder than the Cazetiers with finer tannins as well. In sum, this is pretty rather than profound.
Relatively pale cherry red. Bright raspberry fruit. Nice clean very fruity palate with very, very light tannins and only just enough acid. Attractive for early drinking but probably not great! (JR)
