(the only one of these 2000s to finish its malo early) Deep red. Roasted, expressive nose of black and red fruits, roast coffee and game, complicated by spicy oak. Rather forward in style, but with only moderate flesh and sweetness. Notes of currant and coffee. Seems a bit dry on the end. This should develop quickly.
