Note di degustazione
Medium red. Ripe aromas of musky redcurrant, red raspberry and dried flowers. Sweet, fully ripe and highly concentrated, offering terrific drinkability now but also the sappy mineral energy to evolve gracefully in the bottle. Quite palate-staining for village wine, finishing with pungent lingering saline minerality.

Really quite tight and short – nothing in the way of perfume and scent. Compressed – lacking resonance. (RH)
Good medium red. Musky dark berries, spices and a note of bitter chocolate on the nose. Offers good thrust but comes across as a bit tight at present, with a hint of smoky minerality and a distinct torrefaction element. Seems a bit skinny for its acidity, but this wine is evolving slowly.
Dark red cherry, plum, smoke and sweet spices all flesh out in the 2012 Vosne-Romanée. Supple and juicy throughout the Vosne is a great introduction to the Grivot house style. Subtle hints of earthiness linger on the close.
