Delightful red cherry aromas are found in the nose of the 2000 Vosne-Romanee. Medium-bodied, it displays a lush, spicy personality filled with supple black cherries. Its finish is firm. Projected maturity: now-2008. Concerning the 2000s, Grivot said it was “a superb vintage, one of my finest. The grapes had great ripeness, with sufficient freshness. Quite deep colour. Massively rich and full. No shortage of well judged tannins. Very, very flattering. Young wine, but well tucked in for a long life. No facile concessions. (CS) (JR)
